Spatial, social, and story dynamics of megachurch growth
Weekly reports about Megachurches in the United States will be shared on the New Sage Press website. https://www.newsage.press/. Using data from the Hartford Institute for Religion Research (HIRR) , Faithscape will map the spatial and narrative dynamics of megachurch development. We will first visualize and model HIRR’s data on congregation size and site location. Then, using machine learning, we will analyze church website content to identify their core narratives and how they support community gatherings and events.
